De kracht van een Business Intelligence tool&nbsp;heeft de afgelopen jaren een toevlucht genomen in de markt. Wij zien dat steeds meer corporaties de data uit de verschillende systemen slim weten te matchen om met deze data te sturen en keuzes te maken.<\/p>\n<p>Het belang van een goed informatiemanagement systeem wordt daardoor ook steeds duidelijker. Slechte data leidt tot slechte \u201cintelligence\u201d. Ook valt op dat met de BI-tools in eerste instantie wordt gewerkt met vrij harde gegevens zoals een KPI op betalingsachterstanden, of een KPI op het passend toewijzen. Echter is er over deze harde data ook veel zachte data bekend in de corporatie.<\/p>\n<h3>Wat is dan zachte data?<\/h3>\n<p>Zachte data zijn data die lastig uit te drukken zijn in kwantitatieve getallen en betreffen dus alle kwalitatieve data die in een corporatie aanwezig is. Eigenlijk is alle data omtrent <a href=\"\/nl\/risicomanagement\/\">Risicomanagement<\/a>, <a href=\"\/nl\/grc-software\/audit-management\/\">Audit (interne controles)<\/a> en <a href=\"\/nl\/compliance\/\">Compliance<\/a> per definitie kwalitatief en is daarmee vaak lastig uit te drukken in een hard getal. Veelal wordt zachte data niet gevangen.<\/p>\n<h3>Beschikbare kwalitatieve data<\/h3>\n<p>Maar toch is er veel kwalitatieve data beschikbaar in de corporatie. Welke compliance risico\u2019s zien wij in het passend toewijzen? Welke maatregelen treffen wij daarop? En worden hier niet maandelijks steekproefsgewijs dossiers gecontroleerd? Hierbij worden maandelijks allerlei bevindingen en aanbevelingen gedaan. Hoe worden deze vervolgens gemonitord en vooral ook gecombineerd met de beschikbare harde data? Hiermee wordt de harde data&nbsp; verrijkt en leidt tot nog betere beslissingsgegevens.<\/p>\n<h3>Er is al veel beschikbaar<\/h3>\n<p>Juist, er gebeurt al zo veel op het vlak van passend toewijzen! Temeer omdat de toezichthouders hier erg streng op zijn. Wij vinden het dan ook niet meer dan logisch om zowel de harde als de zachte data (risico\u2019s, maatregelen, bevindingen\/aanbevelingen vanuit interne controles) te combineren met de harde data waarop te zien is hoeveel procent de corporatie heeft passend toegewezen.
